hungry.she is called as paradesi.I heard a story from my late
mother Madhavikutty(Omana Nair)that pazhannur amma came from
a far place at midnight she was tired and hungry she the poor
godess slept under the baniyan tree just in the entrance gate
when she woke up it was morning then she thought she will stay
their for ever after having a bath in the pond .Today also it
heard that a packed of food is stored under the tree who ever get

loyal and sincere we have other cast like eyuttacchans and ezavas
who are kind hearted.Take a taxi or rickshaw from trichur station
I think the rickshaw fare is 400/ Bus rate is okey may be 35/-
as iam a mumbayite I know this much when you tell the busconductor
he will guide you after getting down in pazhayannur you will find
the famous pazhannur baghavaty kshetram(temple)she is the mother
of pazhayannur and she bless all her children where ever in the world they are.she never leaves anyone

it is one of the fabulous shrine of my native land where i live
next to it pazhannur is my mother land. It was believed that very
long before tipu sultan raided the place destroyed so many shrine
threw some dietie like nagas here and there and they rode towards
palakkad and built their fort in palakkad which is famous.there is
beautiful pond called as thevar kulam(pond) filled with lotus
some time public has to remove the lotus to clean to the south
we have muslim shrine as there are few muslim
